Arlene has captured an impressionistic style in oils of scenes from traveling in Europe and South America. Some of her paintings have a mystical quality created by her “impressions in oils.” Some paintings depict children or animals in them to make the scene come alive or to tell a story which fascinates the viewer with childhood memories. Arlene also has painted seven lighthouses of the Northwest which are realistic. Her paintings can be found in private collections around the world as well as the USA.
